Pine Ridge Elementary became an official STEAM certified school (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) during the 2020 school year. This recognition reflects our commitment to providing an innovative and integrated education that prepares our students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
At Pine Ridge Elementary, we take pride in our specialized focus on agriculture, a unique aspect of our STEAM program. This emphasis allows our students to explore and engage in hands-on learning experiences related to the field of agriculture, fostering a deep understanding of its importance in our community and beyond.
Collaboration is at the heart of our success, and we are grateful for the support of our dedicated community partners who have played a pivotal role in enhancing our educational initiatives. Together, we create meaningful opportunities for our students to apply the Georgia Standards of Excellence learned in the classroom to real-world problems, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

📣 PRE Spotlight: STEAM Recognition on GPB! 🎙️
We’re excited to share that two of our amazing teachers, Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Hudson, were invited to Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) last year to record a podcast highlighting Pine Ridge Elementary’s STEAM certification journey!
During the podcast, they shared how PRE earned STEAM certification in 2020 by ensuring that all students were included in hands-on, innovative learning experiences. Their passion and dedication to our school’s mission truly shine!
